I agree with John Burns. I enjoyed the show!

Here are my points:

1. Could be more focused, there were some points where I was starting to lose interest because conversation was straying from the point (or at least seemed to be).

2. The ending was abrupt. Why stop at 20 mins? Is that your target time? I think that a good discussion can go on for 30 minutes (I think much longer than that would be pushing it).

3. Like John, I feel like I am wanting more.. Perhaps talk more about less in future. Would be very much dependent on point #2.

4. The sound effects were funny at first, but were overplayed :)

5. I found you both talk very clearly, which was good. Also means I can listen to the podcast at increased speed and keep up.

6. It was nice to put a voice to Martin (we have conversed on Twitter before).

Great first show, this has been added to Google Reader and I look forward to listening to shows #2 and #3!

Good job :)

Thanks, John! Yes, "abrupt" is the word. But Curtis was trying to create focus where there was none. In 90 minutes of recording, he found 18 that were on topic. (And if you can't see how those were on topic, I should get Curtis to post the outtakes.)

The 6 use cases, sadly, don't actually see the light of day until episode 3. But there, we really dig into them.

We're like Microsoft: version 3 is where we get it right.

Sorry for the abrupt ending. As first podcast episodes go, this one was pretty unfocused. Martin and I can (and do) talk for hours about a variety of subjects and didn't want to bore you, so we did lots of cutting.

The 2nd podcast is on the cutting floor right now and the 3rd was just recorded so check back tomorrow (Monday evening).

Great first show!

Liked the comfortable voices. Curtis definitely has a radio host voice (maybe a "2nd/3rd..." career)

Still looking for more about the 6 points that were brought up.

The rushed end to this episode left me wanting more - but was abrupt.

I have added URL to my weekly "check-ins"... and of course will be waiting on Tweets.
